Visiting this website
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Cloudflare processes technical information, including IP addresses and traffic/request information, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Our pages have no analytics, advertising, forms or third-party embeds, and the page code does not set cookies. Cloudflare may use security cookies depending on the protection features in use. Viewing a page does not connect Garmin or give us access to your training data.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any information you choose to include. We use this to respond to and manage your enquiry. Our email service provider processes correspondence on our behalf. Providing this information is voluntary, but we need a reply address to respond.
Please do not send health records, Garmin credentials or other sensitive information by email. You can ask us about information held in correspondence or request its deletion using the contact address above.
The planned training prototype
With an athlete’s authorisation, the proposed Garmin integration would process account-link and authorisation information; activity data such as pace, power, heart rate, GPS and elevation; relevant health and recovery data such as sleep; and user-created workouts and training plans. It would also need operational information to run the service. Availability depends on API access, device support and permissions.
The intended purposes are athlete-requested training analysis, planning, and publication of user-approved workouts and plans to Garmin Connect. The initial scope is new data after connection, without historical import. Women’s Health and Courses APIs are outside this initial scope.
AI clients and other providers
Athletes would use their own Claude or ChatGPT client to connect to our business-operated MCP service. Information returned in response to their requests may be processed by Anthropic or OpenAI through that client. This does not mean every stored field would automatically be sent to an AI provider. Provider terms and the athlete’s account settings would also apply.
The application is intended to run on operator-managed infrastructure, separately from this static website. Cloudflare and future AI providers may process information outside New Zealand.
Connection, storage and deletion
Connecting the planned service would be voluntary. We intend athletes to be able to stop future access. Stopping access would not, by itself, delete records already stored.
Before invited athletes connect, we will finalise the application’s storage, security, retention and deletion arrangements and update this statement. Those arrangements and application controls are not yet available to testers. Provider processing locations and data-use settings depend on the selected service and account. We will document the arrangements for invited testing before connection.
